Tasty Thai Restaurant

Not really a Thai restaurant as it's not Thai own so more of Thai style. Food is all right not the same flavor or kick of most Thai restaurants. Kind of limited as not to many items on the menu are available. If we knew about the lunch buffet then we might have enjoyed it more. No sauces or condiments that usually at the table. No other Asians here. We really wanted some great Thai but this area is more Korean, Japanese, and India/ Pakistan restaurants. Again not bad and prices are fair if you are hungry. Rice is not bad and didn't seem to be old, too dry, or too wet so that's a plus as we got a good amount compared to other restaurants that don't give us enough for the meal. Lighting is kind of dull so try to seat closer to entrance so you can see the menu. It very quiet in there too and you can hear everything as every noise carries to include what is happening in the back of the restaurant.

Incredible food, great prices, and amazing service. This place is an underrated gem. The interior is a little outdated, but the food is clearly priority number one. It is packed with the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors. I took my mom and we loved the pad see ew, coconut curry, and the almond beef entrée. The owner took our order, got the food out incredibly fast, and was so warm and welcoming when we chatted with him. Portions are generous enough to satisfy a big appetite, and the prices are the lowest I’ve seen for Thai food in a long time. Total bang for your buck and we will definitely be back!

Here’s a shorter, sharper version that is direct and attention-grabbing: Worst Thai food experience we’ve had in the Chicago area. We ordered food, drove off, and later discovered they gave us the wrong order. By the time we realized it, the restaurant was already closed, leaving us stuck with food we didn’t order and money wasted. No resolution, no accountability. Judging by other reviews, this doesn’t appear to be an isolated issue. First impressions matter, and this one was a complete failure. If zero stars were an option, that’s what this experience would earn. We came excited to try Thai food before heading back to Florida, but left disappointed instead. This restaurant seriously needs to improve its order accuracy, customer service, and overall operations. We’ll be disputing the charge and won’t be returning. For an even more aggressive review: Absolutely unacceptable. Our very first Thai food experience in Chicago ended with the restaurant giving us the wrong order, closing before we could return, and leaving us to pay for food we never ordered. Delicious food. Many options on the menu. Prepared fresh, very tasty. Wonderful customer service. They are very helpful and accommodate any request. Online ordering is very easy. Prices are reasonable and portions are very generous. Thank you Tasty Thai and Sam!! We will be ordering from you again soon.

$8.95 Thai Lunch Buffet on Tuesdays and $10.95 rest of the days. Amazing value for the lunch buffet! The pad Thai here is still tasty! The chicken is moist with the pad see ew full of flavor as the yellow curry. Everything here tastes fantastic! That is why I always bring my coworkers, friends and family here. Great service and will they will assist your group! The Kai Tod crispy chicken is the best flavored crispy chicken I can eat everyday! I come back here all the time over and over for the chicken!
